| Once
production was completed for The
Siamese Cat
pilot, a DVD needed to be created not only for handing off to potential
buyers, but also for the cast and crew. I was having a blast with my
brand-new Macintosh G4 tower, so I took the opportunity to do it all
for the DVD – commentary, deleted scenes, motion menus, authoring,
burning, color labels and color cover. The creator of the characters
had commissioned an artist to draw the program's characters, so a comic
book theme was a natural. This DVD was authored in Apple's original DVD
Studio Pro, before the program was revamped and made more user
friendly. This forced me to get an in-depth education on the
requirements for files, menus and assets to make a compliant DVD. |
